Pacific PowerTech’s roots go back to 1960 when Heinz Nowak founded Fluid Air Components, Inc.  SAS Fluid Power, founded in 1972, was purchased by the Hillman Company in January 2001 and combined the assets of both companies to create Pacific PowerTech LLC in June 2001. PPT provides the best motion control technologies, products and services to profitably meet customers’ needs.

PPT is headquartered in Portland, Oregon with branches in Eugene Oregon, Seattle Washington, and Spokane Washington and employs 90 people.  PPT is proud to represent the top product lines in the industry, such as Bosch-Rexroth, SMC, Denison, Sauer Danfoss, Hydac, Schroeder, MTS, Stauff, Linde, and Lincoln Industrial just to name a few.

Carl Williamson, President /CEO, Pacific PowerTech LLC

Carl Williamson majored in Business at University of California Davis.  He was with Paul Munroe for 14 years as Branch Manager; Hydroline Regional Sales Manager for five years; B & T Hydraulics for three years as Sales Manager; and Atlas Cylinders for four years as National Sales & Marketing Manager before joining Fluid Air Components in 1990 as Sales Manager. Carl became President of Fluid Air Components in 1999, a position in which he continues to excel with Pacific PowerTech LLC.  Carl was a Tank Commander in the Army National Guard and played professional baseball for the Cincinnati Reds from 1968 to 1970.
